Where: Secret location in East Suffolk?!
Registration is now closed for Great Xscape in East Suffolk.

The Great Xcsape in East Suffolk has proved so popular we have had to close registration early. However if you would still like to take part in the Great Xscape, why not sign up for our Waveney Great Xscape?

It’s taking place just an hour down the road in Lowestoft and if you have even less knowledge of the area, it will make it all the more challenging and fun to find your way back!

Do you dare take on the Great Xscape?!

Your mission is to recruit a team of three or four people to be blindfolded, driven to a secret location in the Suffolk countryside and challenged to find your way back in the quickest time. Are you up for the challenge?

No money, no maps, no mobiles! How you return is up to you…

The starting point is the Shipwreck Bar and Restaurant at Shotley Gate. Registration is from 9.30am to ensure we set off promptly at 10am.

From there you will be blindfolded and driven to the mystery location and then your challenge begins. Find your way back! You will be given a compass and a mobile phone (which can only make emergency calls and accept incoming calls).

There will be a fantastic prize for the winning team and for those who wish to take the challenge a step further, there will be a prize for the most creative fancy dress. After you have returned to the Shipwreck Bar and Restaurant, there will be some light bites provided for participants and a raffle.

The registration fee is £20 per person and you must be over 18.  There is no minimum sponsorship; however we ask that you aim to raise as much money as possible.

After asking people to phone in and nominate the best and worst toilets in Suffolk, Mark sent Luke Deal to inspect the nominated toilets.  Thanks to a nice lady from Holbrook who phoned and voted for our toilets as the nicest, Luke then came and inspected them, giving us joint first with the Abbey Gardens in Bury St Edmunds.
